mixed feelings about this place

the staff at reception seemed alright i guess, they had a record player i could borrow for the room.
the bed situation was just weird. it was to be a queen bed, but really it was two single beds shoved together to look like one thing. it was not a comfortable arrangement for sleeping, obviously.

i liked the themed decor, it included drum lights. i thought the comfortable beds and pillows were a plus. the staff provided friendly service, always ready to assist, i appreciated their help.
Sound isolation wasn't great. I could hear some noise from neighboring rooms and outside.

the LOCATION was acceptable because it was central.
The STAIRS proved difficult, even WITHOUT heavy luggage. I consider this a design flaw. my ROOM faced the street, and the NOISE levels were excessive, disrupting sleep. the lack of AIR conditioning compounded the issue.
